QUESTION FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 76)

17    Ms Mabonga (Mfuwe)    -    to ask the Minister of Tourism:

(a)    whether the Government is aware that officers from the Department of National Parks and Wildlife shot and wounded 29 people at Muwele Village in Mfuwe Parliamentary Constituency on Tuesday, 28th September, 2021; 

(b)    if so, why the officers discharged live ammunition on unarmed villagers;

(c)    whether the action by the officers was lawful; and

(d)    if not, what punitive measures have been taken against the erring officers.

QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 74)

18     Mr Sampa (Matero)    -    to ask the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development:

(a)    when construction of the Barlastone - Katuba road from Mungwi Road to the Great North Road, will commence;
(b)    what the total cost of the project is; and
(c)    what the time frame for the completion of the project is.

19    Mr Mumba (Kantanshi)    -    to ask the Minister of Small and Medium Enterprise Development:

(a)    what size of businesses are defined as small and medium enterprises; and
(b)    what strategies will be used to ensure that the objectives of the Ministry are achieved.

20    Mr Samakayi (Mwinilunga)    -    to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    when the construction of a clinic in Mumpulumba area in Chief Ntambu’s chiefdom in Mwinilunga District will commence;
(b)    what the cause of the delay in commencing the project is;
(c)    when an ambulance will be procured for Chiseng’iseng’i Clinic in Senior Chief Sayilunga’s chiefdom; and
(d)    what the cause of the delay in procuring the ambulance is.
