3.  Mr Wamunyima (Nalolo)     - to ask the Minister of Technology and Science:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that citizens’ phone, WhatsApp and Skype calls as well as short message system are tapped into by the Financial Intelligence Centre as reported in the Daily Nation Newspaper of Thursday, 23rd September, 2021;

 

(b) if so, whether the act is not an infringement of citizens’ right to privacy as enshrined in the Constitution; and

 

(c) what urgent measures are being taken to ensure that citizens’ guaranteed right to privacy is protected.
