Suspension of Standing Orders: That Standing Order 100 of the National Assembly of Zambia Standing Orders, 2016, and Standing Orders 6 and 7 of the National Assembly of Zambia (Corona Virus Disease-2019) Temporary Standing Orders, 2020 be suspended to enable the House to consider more than one stage of a Bill at the same Sitting and to sit from 0900 hours on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th May, 2021 until business on the Order Paper for each day is completed.

(a) which Government Institution is currently distributing mealie meal to residents of Ikeleng’i District;

 

(b) why the residents are being asked to produce their Voter’s Registration Cards and National Registration Cards before receiving the mealie meal; and
