38. Ms Subulwa (Sioma) - to ask the Minister of Tourism and Arts:
(a) what the population of crocodiles in Sioma Parliamentary Constituency was, as of July, 2020;
(b) how many people were attacked by crocodiles from 2016 to 2019, year by year;
(c) how many people at (b):
(i) died; and
(ii) were injured and permanently disabled; and
(d) what measures are being taken to prevent further attacks and loss of life in the area.
QUESTION FOR WRITTEN ANSWER
W11. Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
(a) how many Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers there were, countrywide, as of July, 2020, province by province;
(b) whether it is Government policy that ECE teachers have to first work as volunteers before being included on the payroll;
(c) if not, why ECE teachers are made to work on voluntary basis before they are included on the payroll; and
(d) what measures are being taken to increase the number of ECE teachers, countrywide.
