36. Ms Tambatamba (Kasempa) - to ask the Minister of Tourism and Arts:
(a) whether there are any designated buffer zones between hunting blocks and safari lodges in national parks, countrywide;
(b) if so, what the designated distance between the hunting blocks and safari lodges is;
(c) if there are no designated buffer zones, why; and
(d) what measures are being taken to designate buffer zones.
QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER
W9. Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
(a) what the shortfall of desks, was as of July, 2020, province by province;
(b) whether the Government has any plans to procure the shortfall;
(c) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
(d) how many desks will be procured for each province; and
(e) what the estimated cost of the exercise is.
W10. Mrs M L Phiri (Chilanga) - to ask the Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection:
(a) how many boreholes were earmarked for sinking in 2019, province by province;
(b) whether all the boreholes, as earmarked, were sunk;
(c) if not, what the challenges in sinking the boreholes were; and
(d) what measures are being taken to address the challenges.
