246. Mr Michelo (Bweengwa) - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a milk processing plant in Monze District;

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

 

(c) if there are no such plans, why.

 

247. Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture:

 

(a) whether there are any irrigation schemes that are non-operational, countrywide;

 

(b) if so, how many are non-operational;

 

(c) why they are non-operational;

 

(d) what measures the Government is taking to revamp the non-operational schemes; and

 

(e) whether the Government has any plans to establish irrigation schemes in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency by 2021.
