208. Mr Kamboni (Kalomo Central) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that on Friday, 21st February, 2020, Richard Bulongo was shot dead by police in Kalomo District;

 

(b) what the circumstances leading to the shooting and loss of life are;

 

(c) what urgent measures the Government is taking to diffuse the tension in the District following the shooting incident; and

 

(d) why the police have continued using live ammunition to control crowds.

 

 

 

209. Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of General Education:

 

(a) when additional teachers will be deployed to schools in Nangoma Parliamentary Constituency; and

 

(b) what the cause of the delay in deploying the teachers is.

 

 

 

W6. Mr A Mumba (Kantanshi) - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:

 

(a) how many youths were empowered by  the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission in 2018, countrywide, district by district;

 

(b) which economic sectors the youths were empowered in; and

 

(c) whether the Government is satisfied with the performance of the youth empowerment programmes so far.
