63. Mr Ndalamei (Sikongo) - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware of the outbreak of anthrax at Naka Village in Sikongo Parliamentary Constituency, which has killed cattle and 2 people who consumed infected beef, while 9 other people have been hospitalised;

 

(b) if so, what urgent measures are being taken to contain the disease;

 

(c) what measures are being taken to sensitise people not to consume meat from animals which die of anthrax; and

 

(d) how many animals had died from the disease as of 25th November, 2019.
