42. Dr M Malama (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that the area surrounding the source of the Zambezi River has been encroached on following the discovery of gold in the area;

 

(b) from the source of the River, what the radius of land had been protected by the Government from being encroached on; and

 

(c) if none, what urgent measures have been taken to protect the source of the River.
