467. Dr M Malama (Kanchibiya) - to ask the Minister of Housing and 

Infrastructure Development:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that the condition of the following roads in the wetlands of Chief Kabinga, linking the mainland to the Chiefdom in Kanchibiya Parliamentary Constituency, have deteriorated in the past one month to an extent that motorists are not able to use them:

 

(i) Chalabesa-Kabinga;

 

(ii) Chambeshi-Mbati-Chinkobo; and

 

(iii) Kopa-Munikashi; and

 

(b) if so, whether Government will rehabilitate the roads before the onset of the rainy season to avoid the Chiefdom being cut off from the rest of the country.

 

468. Mr Mwiinga (Chikankata) - to ask the Vice President:

 

(a) why mealie meal delivered to Chikankata Parliamentary Constituency in early June, 2019 as relief food, has not been distributed to-date;

 

(b) whether the Government is aware that the hunger situation has worsened to alarming levels in the Constituency; and

 

(c) if so, when the mealie meal will be distributed.
