442 Mr Mwiinga (Chikankata)    - to ask the Minister of Energy:
 
 
(a) whether the Government is aware that Chikankata Mission Hospital in Chikankata Parliamentary Constituency is being load shedded by Zesco Limited;
 
(b) if so, why the health facility is being load shedded;
 
(c) whether the Government is aware that the load shedding is endangering the lives of patients at the Hospital; and
 
(d) if so, when the practice will be stopped.
 
 
QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 30)
 
443 Mr Sampa (Kasama Central) - to ask the Minister of Justice:
 
 
(a) which countries requested the Zambian Government to extradite people from Zambia in 2017 and 2018;
 
(b) what the outcomes of the extradition requests were; and
 
(c) to which countries the Zambian Government made extradition requests in  the same period.
 
 
444 Mr Chiyalika (Lufubu) - to ask the Vice President:
 
 
(a) when the Auditor General will be appointed;
 
(b) what has caused the delay in appointing the Auditor General;
 
(c) whether there are any people who have expressed interest in the position;
 
(d) if so, how many; and
 
(e) whether the Government has any plans to advertise the position.
 
 
445 Mr Munkonge (Lukashya)    - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
 
 
(a) whether local authorities have been granted authority to buy materials for Constituency Development Fund (CDF) projects; and
 
(b) if so, whether the arrangement does not create conflict of interest on the part of the local authorities which are mandated to supervise CDF projects.
 
 
446 Mr Lihefu (Manyinga) - to ask the Minister of Energy:
 
 
(a) whether the Government is aware that people who paid ZESCO Limited for power connection to their premises in Manyinga District have not been connected to power since 2015; and
 
(b) what has caused the delay in connecting the power; and
 
(c) when power will be connected to their premises.
 
 
447 Mr Bwalya (Lupososhi)   - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
 
(a) how much money had been paid to the contractors engaged to work on the Kasaba-Chungu-Luwingu road as of December, 2018; and
 
(b) what the names of the contractors are.
 
 
448 Mr Kaziya (Matero)    - to ask the Minister of Defence:
 
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to engage the Zambia Defence Force in large scale agriculture;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
 
(c) whether there are any plans to use the Defence Force in the construction of dams to enhance agricultural activities, countrywide;
 
(d) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(e) whether there are any plans to engage the Defence Force in any other economic activities.
 
 
449 Mr Nanjuwa (Mumbwa) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
 
(a) why the contractor engaged to construct Mumbwa Day Secondary School in Mumbwa District has abandoned the project;
 
(b) when works will resume;
 
(c) what the total cost of the project is;
 
(d) what the time frame for the completion of the project is; and
 
(e) what the name of the contractor is.
 
 
450 Mr P Phiri (Mkaika)     - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
 
(a) when construction works on the new Katete Police Station, which stalled in 2014, will resume;
 
(b) why the works stalled;
 
(c) who the contractor for the project is;
 
(d) what the total cost of the project is; and
 
(e) what the time frame for the completion of the outstanding works is.
 
 
QUESTION FOR WRITTEN ANSWER
 
 
W2 Mr Samakayi (Mwinilunga)     - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) which projects were below 50 percent completion, sector by sector and province by province as of October, 2018; and
 
(b) when the projects will be completed.
