QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER 30)
388. Mr Musonda (Kamfinsa) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to upgrade Zamtan Health Centre in Kamfinsa Parliamentary Constituency to a first level hospital;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
389. Mr P Phiri (Mkaika) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a district hospital in Katete;
(b) if so, when construction works will commence;
(c) what the cost of the project is; and
(d) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
390. Prof Lungwangwa (Nalikwanda) - to ask the Minister of Tourism and
Arts:
(a) whether the Government has applied to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) for the recognition of the Kuomboka Ceremony as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity;
(b) if so, what the status of the application is; and
(c) if an application has not been made, why.
391. Mr S Tembo (Chadiza) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
(a) when the tarring of township roads in Chadiza, which stalled in 2016, will resume;
(b) why the works stalled;
(c) what the total cost of the project is;
(d) how much money had been paid to the contractor as of December, 2018; and
(e) what the time frame for the completion of the outstanding works is.
392. Ms Langa (Chilanga) - to ask the Minister of Justice:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a local court building in Chilanga Parliamentary Constituency; and
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
