Suspension of Standing Orders:  That Standing Orders 20, 21, 22, 26 and 32 be suspended to enable the House to sit from 09:00 hours and to hear the President’s Address until Business has been concluded on Friday, 15th March, 2019 and also to omit the Vice President’s Question Time from the Order Paper.

 

 

340 Mr Kakubo (Kapiri Mposhi) - to ask the Vice President:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that planning officers from the Central Province Provincial Administration, are in the Kakwelesa Agricultural Settlement Scheme to demarcate 28, 000 hectares of land into residential plots;

 

(b) if so, whether the following stakeholders were consulted on the demarcation exercise:

 

(i) Chief Mukonchi;

 

(ii) the Village Headmen; and

 

(iii) local people who have lived in the area since independence; and

 

(c) what measures are being taken to ensure that the local people are not displaced.

 

 

341 Mr Lufuma (Kabompo) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

 

(a) what the progress on the plans to construct acrow bridges, countrywide, is;

 

(b) how many such bridges are earmarked for construction, countrywide;

 

(c) of the number at (b), how many are earmarked for construction in Kabompo Parliamentary Constituency;

 

(d) when the construction works will commence; and

 

(e) what the total cost of the project, countrywide, is.

 

342 Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli) - to ask the Minister of Health:

 

(a) whether the Government has any plans to upgrade the Mwansakombe Rural Health Centre in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency to a zonal health centre;

 

(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;

 

(c) whether there are any plans to rehabilitate the windmill at the Rural Health Centre; and

 

(d) if so, when the plans will be implemented.

 

343 Mr Ndalamei (Sikongo) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

 

(a) when the construction of Sikongo Boarding Secondary School will be completed;

 

(b) what has caused the delay in completing the project; and

 

(c) when the School will be opened to the public.

 

344 Evangelist Shabula (Itezhi Tezhi) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

 

(a) when the rehabilitation of the Itezhi Tezhi road from the Lusaka-Mongu road Turn Off (D679) will be completed;

 

(b) what has caused the delay in completing the project; and

 

(c) what the total cost of the outstanding works is.
