325 Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central)     - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) why the construction of the Kalabo-Sikongo road has stalled;
 
(b) when the project will resume;
 
(c) who the contractor for the project is;
 
(d) what the cost of the outstanding works is; and
 
(e) what the time frame for the completion of the outstanding works is.
 
326 Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli)    - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to open a unit for children with special needs at Lubwe Secondary School in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency; and
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
327 Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) how many teachers upgraded their professional qualifications from 2016 to 2018 in Chifunabuli District as follows:
 
(i) from certificate to diploma; and
 
(ii) from diploma to degree;
 
(b) of the numbers above, how many have been placed in the appropriate salary scales;
 
(c) why the rest have not been placed in the appropriate salary scales; and
 
(d) when the teachers at (c) will be placed in the appropriate salary scales.
 
328 Mr Nanjuwa (Mumbwa)    - to ask the Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate the following dams in Mumbwa Parliamentary Constituency:
 
(i) Chibila; and                             (ii) Kabwanga;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
 
(c) whether the Government has any plans to construct dams in the following Wards:
 
(i) Nalusanga on the Nalusanga Stream;
 
(ii) Naluvwi on the Chibila Stream; and
 
(iii) Kamilambo in Nsangu area; and
 
(d) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
329 Mr M Jere (Livingstone)    - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) when the construction of the intercity bus terminus in Livingstone will be completed;
 
(b) what the total amount of outstanding works, in percentage terms, was as of October, 2018;
 
(c) what the cost of the outstanding works is; and
 
(d) what the total cost of the project is.
 
330 Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli)    - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) how many qualified teachers were deployed to Chikuwe Secondary School in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency as of 31st December, 2018;
 
(b) whether the Government has any plans to deploy additional teachers to the School;
 
(c) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(d) what the pass rate for Grade 9 in 2018 at the School was.
 
331 Mr C Zulu (Luangeni)    - to ask the Minister of Energy:
 
(a) how many residents of Chipata District had paid ZESCO Limited to have power connected to their premises from January to October, 2018;
 
(b) how many clients had power connected as of 30th November, 2018;
 
(c) what has caused the delay in connecting the premises; and
 
(d) what measures are being taken to quicken the process of connecting power to the clients’ premises.
 
332 Mr S Tembo (Chadiza) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) why the tarring of the Chipata-Chadiza road, under the Link Zambia 8000 Project, has stalled;
 
(b) how much work, in percentage terms, was outstanding as of October, 2018;
 
(c) when the project will resume;
 
(d) what the total cost of the project is; and
 
(e) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
 
333 Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli)    - to ask the Minister of Transport and Communication:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to engage MTN and Airtel to co-host communication network transmission at the following sites in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency:
 
(i) Kapumbe in Kasanka Ward;
 
(ii) Chaiteka/Tende in Masonde Ward; and
 
(iii) Chibuye in Kasongole Ward; and
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
334 Mr Lufuma (Kabompo)    - to ask the Minister of Agriculture:
 
(a) whether the Government has paid all the transporters who were engaged to transport farming inputs for the 2016/2017 farming season under the Farmer Input Support Programme;
 
(b) if not, how much money is still owed to the transporters, country wide; and
 
(c) when the outstanding amount will be settled.
 
335 Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli)    - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) how many teachers were deployed to Chifunabuli District as of January, 2019, following the recruitment of teachers in 2018;
 
(b) of the number above, how many were deployed to community schools;
 
(c) which community schools benefited from the deployment; and
 
(d) what the criteria used to deploy the teachers to the District are.
 
336 Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central)     - to ask the Minister of Energy:
 
(a) why the construction of a power line from Kalabo to Nalolo District has stalled;
 
(b) when the project will resume;
 
(c) who the contractor for the project is;
 
(d) what the total cost of the project is; and
 
(e) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
 
337 Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli)    - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) when the following staff will be deployed to the District Education Board Secretary’s Office in Chifunabuli District:
 
(i) human resource officer;                (ii) statistician;
 
(iii) typist;                                           (iv) accounting officer; and
 
(v) standards officer for special education; and
 
(b) when the Office will be provided with the following:
 
(i) computers;                       (ii) printers;
 
(iii) motor vehicles; and        (iv) a boat.
 
338 Mr Ndalamei (Sikongo)    - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) why construction works on the following infrastructure in Sikongo District have stalled:
 
(i) a post office;
 
(ii) a District Council administration block;
 
(iii) a District Commissioner’s Office block; and
 
(iv) low, medium and high cost houses;
 
(b) when the works will resume; and
 
(c) what the time frame for the completion of each project is.
 
339 Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli)    - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:
 
(a) what the progress on the compensation of farmers who lost their pigs during the outbreak of the African Swine Fever between 2017 and 2018 in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency is;
 
(b) what the total number of the affected farmers is; and
 
(c) what the total cost of the exercise is.
