102 Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Higher Education:

(a) why the Health Professions Council of Zambia directed management at the Copperbelt University (CBU) to discontinue some programmes in the School of Medicine, while the Higher Education Authority directed CBU to continue running the programmes;

(b) whether the two directives are not causing confusion in the education sector; and

(c) which institution is mandated to regulate the Schools of Medicine in the country.

 

 

103 Ms Kabanshi (Luapula) - to ask the Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection:

(a) when the construction of the water reticulation system in Lunga District will commence;

(b) what has caused the delay in commencing the project;

(c) what the cost of the project is; and

(d) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.

 

 

Death of Mr Frank Simona Kufakwandi, MP:  That this House do place on record its deepest regret at the death of Mr Frank Simona Kufakwandi, Member of Parliament for Sesheke Parliamentary Constituency, and its appreciation of his distinguished and patriotic service to this country and the people of Zambia, and that the deepest sympathies and condolences of the National Assembly be conveyed to his family.
