84.   Mr Samakayi (Mwinilunga) - to ask the Vice President:

 

(a) whether the Government is aware that residents of Mumpulumba area in Mwinilunga District are threatened with starvation due to an outbreak of a disease that is causing cassava to rot;

(b) if so, whether the Government has any plans to distribute relief food to the affected residents; and

(c) when the relief food will be distributed.

 

 

85.   Mr Ngulube (Kabwe Central) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

 

(a) whether there are any foreign nationals who own firearms in Zambia;

(b) if so, what the total number of foreign nationals who owned firearms was, as of 30th September, 2018;

(c) whether the Government has any plans to issue a Statutory Instrument restricting the use of firearms in public places; and

(d) whether foreign nationals are subjected to background checks to ascertain their suitability to own firearms.
