QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER NO. 30)
 
48   Mr Mbulakulima (Milenge) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to upgrade the Mansa-Milambo road;
(b) if so, when the road will be upgraded; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
49   Mr Lufuma (Kabompo) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to recruit teachers in 2018;
(b) if so, how many teachers are earmarked for recruitment;
(c) when the exercise will commence; and
(d) what percentage of teachers will be deployed to rural schools.
 
50   Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli) - to ask the Minister of Transport and Communication:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct communication towers in the following areas in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency:
 
(i) Kapamba Ward, covering Kafwimbi, Nambale, Kaongwe, Mazembe and Chikuwe Primary Schools; and
(ii) Kasongole Ward, covering Chibuye, Lule, Shimalingu and Mweshilungu Primary Schools; and
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
51   Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) when the tarring of the Kasalu-Keezwa road via Chief Shakumbila’s Palace in Nangoma Parliamentary Constituency will be completed;
(b) who the contractor for the project is;
(c) what has caused the delay in completing the project;
(d) what the total cost of the project is; and
(e) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
 
52 Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Energy:
 
(a) why the electrification of some areas in Matushi Ward in Mufumbwe District has stalled;
(b) when the works will resume; and
(c) what the estimated time frame for completion of the project is.
