QUESTION FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER NO. 31)
 
26. Mr Mweetwa (Choma Central)     - to ask the Minister of Finance:
 
(a) whether the United Kingdom has frozen all bilateral funding to Zambia;
(b) if so, why;
(c) which other countries have frozen their financial aid to Zambia;
(d) what the impact of the frozen aid on the 2018 Budget is; and
(e) what immediate measures the Government is taking to mitigate the impact of the frozen aid.
 
QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER (STANDING ORDER NO. 30)
 
27. Mr D Mumba (Chama North)    -     to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) when the construction of the Kamphemba Bridge in Chama North Parliamentary Constituency will commence;
(b) what has caused the delay in commencing the project; and
(c) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
 
28. Mr Chabi (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply:
 
(a) which company was contracted to supply dredgers in 2015;
(b) what the contract sum was;
(c) what the total number of dredgers to be supplied was;
(d) how many dredgers were supplied as of July, 2018;
(e) to which areas the dredgers have been allocated; and
(f) if none has been supplied, why.
 
29. Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa)   -    to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) when the upgrading of school infrastructure at Nkosha Secondary School in Kaputa Parliamentary Constituency will be completed;
(b) how much money has so far been spent on the project; and
(c) what the total number of teachers  deployed to the school was as of 30th June, 2018.
 
30. Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma)     -    to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) why the construction of a health centre in Kakombo area near Chief Shakumbila’s Palace in Nangoma Parliamentary Constituency has stalled;
(b) when the construction will resume; and
(c) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
 
31. Mr Mbulakulima (Milenge)    -     to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate the following Primary Schools in Milenge District:
 
(i) Mapula; and
(ii) Sokontwe;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
32. Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) -     to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:
 
(a) which province produced the highest amount of milk between January, 2017 and June, 2018; and
(b) what measures the Government is taking to improve milk production in provinces with low production.
 
33. Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa)   - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:
 
(a) how many solar powered hammer mills were allocated to the following Districts:
(i) Kaputa;
(ii) Chimbamilonga; and
(iii) Nsama;
(b) how many hammer mills have been installed and were operational as of 30th June, 2018 in each District; and
(c) when the installation of the remaining hammer mills will be completed.
