(a) what the ratings of the following universities at the African and global levels, are:

(v) Chalimbana University;
 
(b) what the ratings were in the last 5 years; and

(a) when the rehabilitation of the Community Development Centre in Mundubi area in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency, whose roof was blown off in November, 2016, will commence; and
 
(b) what has caused the delay in rehabilitating the Centre.
 
W94 Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate the Mundubi Rural Health Centre and construct a mothers’ shelter in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) how the beds and mattresses that were donated by Care International-Zambia were distributed at the Health Centre.

(a) when the following will be provided to St Margaret’s Hospital in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency:
 
(i) X-ray machine;
(ii) ultra sound machine;
(iii) armaguard cable for connecting electricity to the mortuary;
(iv) beds and mattresses;
(v) contactor for the solar panel;
(vi) starter for the water pump;
(vii) 2 VIP beds;
(viii) new side bed lockers for patients;
(ix) incubators; and
(x) theatre table; and
 
(b) when additional doctors will be deployed to the Hospital.
 
W96 Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development when the construction of a 1 x 2 classroom block and a 1 x 3 classroom block at Nsengaila Primary School in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency will be completed.
 
W97 Mr Mecha (Chifunabuli) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to undertake the following at Nsengaila Primary School in Chifunabuli Parliamentary Constituency:
 
(i) deploy additional teachers;
(ii) provide Information and Communication Technology equipment;
(iii) rehabilitate the two non-functional boreholes; and
(iv) provide textbooks for the new curriculum;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(a) whether the Government has any plans to procure desks and computers for schools in Nyimba District;

W100 Ms O Phiri (Nyimba) - to ask the Minister of Justice:
 
(a) whether the Government is aware that there is no magistrate stationed in Nyimba District;
 
(b) if so, when a magistrate will be deployed to the District; and
 
(c) what immediate plans the Government is taking to ensure that cases are heard and disposed of quickly.

(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a Magistrates Court building in Vubwi District;

(a) why construction works at Katima Mulilo Trades Training Institute in Sesheke Parliamentary Constituency have stalled for a long time, considering that the project is 75% complete;

(c) what the total cost of the remaining works is; and
 
(d) what the time frame for the completion of the outstanding works is.

(a) how much money was allocated to Chingola District under the Pave Zambia Project;
 
(b) whether the contract has been awarded;
 
(c) if so, when the project will commence; and
 
(d) what has happened to the paving equipment bought by the Government.
 
 
 
W115 Mr Mutelo (Mitete) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) who the contractors for the following projects in Mitete District are:
 
(i) post office;
(ii) District administration block;
(iii) police station;
(iv) civic centre;
(v) medium cost houses; and 
(vi) low cost houses;
 
(b) why the works on all the projects have stalled; and
 
(c) when the works will resume.

(a) at what stage of construction the following health posts were in Mitete District as of December, 2017:
 
(i) Washishi;
(ii) Lupui; and

(c) why the works have stalled; and
 
(d) when the works will resume.

(a) how many Zambians have held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the Zambezi River Authority from the year 2000 to-date;

(c) whether the Government has any plans to empower women in the Constituency through livestock programmes.

(a) how many health workers migrated to other countries from 2015 to 2017, year by year;
 
(b) what the major causes of the migration are; and
 
(c) what measures are being taken to prevent further migration.

(a) how much money was collected as mineral royalty tax from 2015 to 2017, year by year, from the following Mines in the North-Western Province:

(b) how much money was utilised for the direct benefit of the local communities; and
 
(c) if none, why.
 
W126 Mr Kasonso (Solwezi West) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:
 
(a) how much money was spent on corporate social responsibility projects by the following mining companies in the North-Western Province from 2015 to 2017, year by year:
 
(i) Kansanshi;
(ii) Lumwana; and
(iv) Kalumbila;
 
(b) what the projects undertaken were; and
 
(c) what measures are being taken to encourage mining companies to upscale their involvement in corporate social responsibility activities in the local communities.
