290 Mr Mwila (Chimwemwe) - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to venture into the growing of cannabis, using the Zambia National Service, primarily for export;
 
(b) if there are no such plans, why;
 
(c) whether there are any countries in Europe and America that legally trade in cannabis; and 
 
(d) if so, what the names of the countries are.
 
291 Ms P Jere (Lumezi) - to ask the Minister of Fisheries and Livestock:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct dip tanks in Lumezi Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) if so, how many dip tanks will be constructed;
 
(c) where the dip tanks will be situated;
 
(d) what the time frame for the completion of the project is; and
 
(e) what the total cost of the project is.
 
292 Dr Chibanda (Mufulira) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to build police posts in the following areas in Mufulira District:
 
(i) Kafironda/Kafue area;
(ii) 14 Miles along the Mufulira-Ndola road; and
(iii) Corner Bar area, off the Mufulira-Ndola road;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
293 Mr Simfukwe (Mbala) - to ask the Minister of Religious Affairs and National Guidance:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to conduct public awareness of the national values and principles;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) what the benefits of realising the national values and principles are.
 
294 Ms Mwape (Mkushi North) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
 
(a) when the tarring of township roads in Mkushi District will be completed;
 
(b) what the cause of the delay in completing the project is; and
 
(c) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
 
QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER (STANDING ORDER NO. 30)
 
W7 Mr Chisopa (Mkushi South) - to ask the Minister of Gender how many women’s clubs in Chitambo Parliamentary Constituency benefitted from the Women’s Empowerment Fund from 1st January, 2015 to 31st December, 2016.
 
W8 Mr P Phiri (Mkaika) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) when the second phase of upgrading the Chimtende and Matunga Primary Schools in Mkaika Parliamentary Constituency will commence; and
 
(b) what the time frame for completing the projects is.
 
W9 Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) what the staff establishment of medical doctors at Kaputa District Hospital is;
 
(b) what the total number of doctors deployed to the Hospital was as of 28th February, 2017;
 
(c) if the number of doctors is less than the staff establishment, when additional doctors will be deployed; and
 
(d) when a Medical Licentiate and a District Medical Administrator Will be deployed.
 
W10 Dr Chanda (Bwana Mkubwa) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) when the construction of a first level hospital in Mushili Township in Bwana Mkubwa Parliamentary Constituency will commence;
 
(b) whether the contractor for the project is on site; and
 
(c) what the time frame for the completion of the project is.
 
W11 Dr Chanda (Bwana Mkubwa) - to ask the Minister of Health:
 
(a) whether the Government is aware that there is no  Government clinic with maternity and in-patient facilities in Bwana Mkubwa Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) if so, when the upgrading of the existing clinics in the Constituency will commence;
 
(c) when ambulances will be procured for the clinics; and
 
(d) when the existing clinics will become operational for 24 hours a day.
 
W12 Mr Mulenga (Ndola Central) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct additional secondary schools in Ndola Central Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) what criteria are used to choose a place where to construct a secondary school.
 
W13 Mr Mulenga (Ndola Central) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
 
(a) when the rehabilitation of township roads in Ndola Central Parliamentary Constituency will commence; and
 
(b) how many roads are earmarked for rehabilitation in the following wards:
 
(i) Twapia;
(ii) Kansenshi; and
(iii) Yengwe.
 
W14 Mr Mulenga (Ndola Central) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to upgrade Kwacha Road in Ndola Central Parliamentary Constituency to a dual carriage way;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
W15 Mr Mulenga (Ndola Central) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) when the construction of a Toll Plaza on the Ndola-Kitwe Dual Carriage Way will commence;
 
(b) what the total cost of the project is; and
 
(c) what the time-frame for the completion of the project is.
 
W16 Mr Mulenga (Ndola Central) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to upgrade and modernise the Mulungushi Intercity Bus Terminus in Ndola;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) what the estimated total cost of the project is.
