160 Mr Ngulube (Kabwe Central) - to ask the Minister of Higher Education:
 
(a) why the Kwame Nkrumah University in Kabwe District was closed;
 
(b) why Mulungushi University has been given the responsibility to manage Kwame Nkrumah University;
 
(c) whether the Government has any plans to appoint a Vice Chancellor for Kwame Nkrumah University;
 
(d) when the conditions of service for the lecturers at Kwame Nkrumah University will be harmonised with those for other public universities; and
 
(e) why contracts for all the lecturers at the Kwame Nkrumah University were terminated.
 
161 Mr Mbulakulima (Milenge) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a police post in Lungo Mukuta area in Milenge District;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) what interim measures have been taken to curb crime in the area.
 
162 Mr Ngambi (Chifubu) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to upgrade Kaniki Primary School in Chifubu Parliamentary Constituency to a secondary school;
 
(b) whether the Government has any plans to construct more classroom blocks at the School; and
 
(c) when the Government will deploy more teachers to the School.
 
163 Mr Lihefu (Manyinga) - to ask the Minister of Defence whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate the following roads in Manyinga District:
 
(a) Ndunga;
 
(b) Litoyi;
 
(c) Chifuwe; and
 
(d) Lumwe.
 
164 Mr Mwiinga (Chikankata) - to ask the Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to improve the water reticulation system at Chikankata Mission Hospital and surrounding areas;
 
(b) if so, when the project will commence; and
 
(c) what the estimated cost of the project is.
 
165 Mr Mwiinga (Chikankata) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct science and computer laboratories at the following newly upgraded schools in Chikankata Parliamentary Constituency:
 
(i) Ngangula;
(ii) Nadezwe;
(iii) Chikankata;
(iv) Hakantu; and 
(v) Ching’ang’auka; and
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
166 Mr C Zulu (Luangeni) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
 
(a) when the construction of Chikando Secondary School in Luangeni Parliamentary Constituency which stalled in 2010, will resume; and
 
(b) what has caused the delay in resuming the project.
 
167 Mr Miyanda (Mapatizya) - to ask the Minister of Chiefs and Traditional Affairs:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct a palace for Chief Simwatachela in Mapatizya Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
 
(c) what the estimated cost of the project is; and
 
(d) how many Chiefs, country-wide, do not have palaces constructed by Government.
 
168 Mr Mulenga (Ndola Central) - to ask the Minister of Youth, Sport and Child Development:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct youth skills training centres in the following wards in Ndola Central Parliamentary Constituency:
 
(i) Twapia;
(ii) Nkwazi;
(iii) Mapalo;
(iv) Kansenshi;
(v) Yengwe; and
(vi) Kanini; and
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented.
 
169 Mr Chisopa (Mkushi South) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
 
(a) when the construction of Mkushi South Boarding Secondary School will be completed;
 
(b) what has caused the delay in completing the project;
 
(c) what the total cost of the project is; and
 
(d) how much money has been paid to the contractor so far.
 
170 Ms Tambatamba (Kasempa) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:
 
(a) whether there were any mine safety inspections conducted at Jifumpa Mine in Kasempa District from 2016 to 2017;
 
(b) if so, how many inspections were conducted;
 
(c) whether the mine is operating in line with the mine safety regulations; and
 
(d) if not, what measures have been taken to ensure compliance.
 
171 Mr Kunda (Muchinga) - to ask the Minister of Chiefs and Traditional Affairs:
 
(a) when the construction of Chieftainess Serenje’s Palace will be completed; and
 
(b) what has caused the delay in completing the project.
 
172 Mr Chisopa (Mkushi South) - to ask the Minister of Justice:
 
(a) which contractor has been constructing Chembe and Chikupili Local Courts in Mkushi South Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) what the cost of constructing each local court is;
 
(c) what has caused the delay in completing the projects; and
 
(d) when the construction of the two projects will be completed.
 
173 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Tourism and Arts:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to gazette the Lubwa Mission, in Chinsali District, as a heritage site;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
174 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection:
 
(a) whether the water reticulation project in Chinsali District is on schedule;
 
(b) who the contractor for the project is;
 
(c) how much work, in percentage terms, has been done so far;
 
(d) what the contract sum is; and
 
(e) how much money has been paid to the contractor so far.
 
175 Mr Chali (Nchanga) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:
 
(a) when the mining concessions between the Government and the following mining companies were signed:
 
(i) Mopani Copper Mines Plc;
(ii) Konkola Copper Mines Plc;
(iii) Kansanshi Mining Plc; and
(iv) Lumwana Mining Company Ltd; and
 
(b) when the concessions will expire.
 
176 Mr Mulenga (Ndola Central) - to ask the Minister of Justice:
 
(a) when the newly constructed Twapia Local Court in Ndola Central Parliamentary Constituency will be opened to the public; and
 
(b) what the cause of the delay in opening the Local Court is.
 
177 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Chiefs and Traditional Affairs:
 
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct Chiefs’ Palaces in Chinsali Parliamentary Constituency;
 
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
 
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
 
178 Mr Chali (Nchanga) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development:
 
(a) what role the Ministry plays in the auctioning of gemstones by companies such as Kagem Mining Plc;
 
(b) whether auctioning is the best method of selling gemstones; and
 
(c) if auctioning is not the best method, what the alternative methods are.
 
179 Mr C Zulu (Luangeni) - to ask the Minister of Tourism and Arts:
 
(a) when the Feni Museum in Luangeni Parliamentary Constituency will be opened to the public;
 
(b) what the cause of the delay in opening the Museum is; and
 
(c) what the benefits of the Museum are.
