286    Mr Chiyalika (Lufubu) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    when tarring of the road from Mukobeko Maximum Correctional Facility in Kabwe to Chief Ngabwe’s area in Ngabwe District will commence; and

(b)    when a bridge will be constructed across the Kafue River.

287    Mr P Phiri (Mkaika) - to ask the Minister of General Education when the following schools in Mkaika Parliamentary Constituency will be provided with desks:

(a)    Walira Primary;

(b)    Chavuka Primary;

(c)    Chamboo Primary;

(d)    Kamasa Primary;

(e)    Matunga Day Secondary; and

(f)    Chimtende Day Secondary.

288    Mr Mwila (Chimwemwe) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    when the construction of the Edgar C Lungu Primary School at Lubuto Centre in Chimwemwe Parliamentary Constituency will commence;

(b)    what the proposed structural designs for the project are like;

(c)    who the contractor for the project is; and

(d)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project is.

289    Ms E Phiri (Kanyama) - to ask the Minister of General Education:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct the following in Kanyama Parliamentary Constituency:

(i)    primary schools;
(ii)    secondary schools; and
(iii)    teachers’ houses;

(b)    if so, how many schools and teachers’ houses will be constructed;

(c)    when the construction works will commence; and

(d)    if there are no such plans, why.

290    Mr S Tembo (Chadiza) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:

(a)    when the tarring of township roads in Chadiza District will resume;

(b)    what the cost of the project is; and

(c)    how much money had been paid to the contractor as of 28th February, 2017.

291    Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of General Education:

(a)    when desks were last delivered to schools in Kaputa District;

(b)    what the total number of desks distributed during the last delivery is; and

(c)    when the next delivery will be made.

292    Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Vice President:

(a)    whether there is any resettlement scheme in Kaputa District;

(b)    if so, what the name of the resettlement scheme is; and

(c)    what the main developmental activities in the scheme are.

293    Mr P Phiri (Mkaika) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    whether the implementation of the Link Zambia 8000 Project is on schedule;

(b)    if it is not on schedule, what the challenges are;

(c)    when construction of the Mtetezi-Msoro road in the Eastern Province, which is under the Project, will commence; and

(d)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project at (c) is.

294    Mr Imbuwa (Nalolo) - to ask the Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection:

(a)    when works on the water reticulation project at Muoyo Royal Village in Nalolo Parliamentary Constituency will be completed;

(b)    why the contract with Logical Systems Limited was terminated;

(c)    whether a new contractor has been identified;

(d)    if so, who the new contractor is; and

(e)    what the total cost of the remaining works on the project is.

295    Dr Chanda (Bwana Mkubwa) - to ask the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources when Title Deeds will be issued to residents of the following areas in Bwana Mkubwa Parliamentary Constituency:

(a)    Old Regiment;

(b)    Mackenzie;

(c)    Kalolo;

(d)    Old Mushili;

(e)    Chichele;

(f)    Mwenye;

(g)    Mwange A; and

(h)    Mwange B.

296    Mr Mbulakulima (Milenge) - to ask the Vice President:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to display Dr Kenneth Kaunda’s portrait in public places as the founding father of the nation;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

297    Mr Mwamba (Lubansenshi) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:

(a)    why the street lighting project in Luwingu District which started in 2013 has stalled;

(b)    when works will resume;

(c)    how much money was allocated for the project; and

(d)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project is.
