277    Mr Chabi (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a)    whether there are any plans to decentralise to provincial centres the uptake of biometric data, such as finger prints;

(b)    if so, when the decentralisation process will commence;

(c)    what the time-frame for the completion of the process is; and

(d)    if there are no such plans, why.

278    Mr Zimba (Chasefu) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    why the tarring of the Lundazi-Chama road has stalled;

(b)    whether the initial contract has been terminated;

(c)    if so, who the new contractor is;

(d)    when the works will resume; and

(e)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project is.

QUESTION FOR WRITTEN ANSWER

W2    Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of General education:

(a)    how many computer laboratories have been established in secondary schools, country-wide; and

(b)    what the names of the beneficiary schools are, province by province.
