275    Mr P Phiri (Mkaika) - to ask the Minister of General Education:

(a)    how many teachers’ houses are earmarked for construction in Mkaika Parliamentary Constituency in 2017;

(b)    how many schools will benefit from the project;

(c)    what the names of the schools are; and

(d)    what the total cost of the project is.

276    Mr Imbuwa (Nalolo) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    when the reconstruction of Nalolo Rural Health Centre and staff houses, which were being built on the banks of the Zambezi River and were washed away, will resume;

(b)    whether the new structures will be built on higher ground;

(c)    whether the contractor for the project has been engaged;

(d)    if so, who the contractor is; and

(e)    what the cost of the project is.

QUESTION FOR WRITTEN ANSWER

W1    Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Transport and Communication:

(a)    what the total number of secondary schools that have benefited from the Information Communication Technology (ICT) capacity building programme provided by the Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) as of February, 2017, province by province, is;

(b)    what the criteria used in identifying the beneficiary schools are;

(c)    how much money had been spent on the programme as of 28th February, 2017; and

(d)    whether there is any other ICT capacity building programme for schools, besides the one provided by ZICTA.
