204    Mr Kufakwandi (Sesheke) - to ask the Minister of Tourism and Arts:

(a)    whether the Government is aware that the absence of a Game Management Area (GMA) between Imusho Ward and the Sioma Ngwezi National Park in Sesheke Parliamentary Constituency has led to human-  animal conflict; and

(b)    if so, when a GMA will be created in the area to avert the conflict.

205    Mr Mwamba (Lubansenshi) - to ask the Minister of Tourism and Arts:

(a)    what the progress on the relocation of squatters from the Isangano National Park is; and

(b)    what progress has been made in restocking the National Park with wild animals.

206    Mr Kasandwe (Bangweulu) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to tar the Kapata Road connecting Samfya District to Lunga District;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

207    Mr M Jere (Livingstone) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    when the following bridges in Livingstone Parliamentary Constituency will be constructed:

(i)    Libuyu Bridge; and
(ii)    Maloni Bridge;

(b)    what the cost of constructing each bridge is; and

(c)    what the time-frame for the construction of each bridge is.

208    Mr Kasandwe (Bangweulu) - to ask the Minister of Transport and Communication:

(a)    why the construction of Samfya Harbour in Bangweulu Parliamentary Constituency has stalled;
 
(b)    when the construction works will resume;

(c)    who the contractor for the project is; and

(d)    what the time-frame for the completion of the remaining works is.

Give Loans to University of Zambia Students: That in terms of Section 16 and 21 of the Higher Education Loans and Scholarship Act No. 31 of 2016, this House urges the Government to provide loans to all eligible University of Zambia students who applied for loans for the 2016/2017 academic year and are already attending classes.

Mr Sing’ombe

Implement Guidelines on Foster Care: That this House urges the Government to implement foster care programmes in the Country in line with the international guidelines.
