QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER
164 Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to review the National Food and Nutrition Commission Act to bring it in line with the current nutritional challenges the country is facing;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
165 Mr M Jere (Livingstone) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure
Development:
(a) when the construction of the Inter-City Bus Terminus in Livingstone will be completed;
(b) what has caused the delay in completing the project;
(c) what the cost of the outstanding works is; and
(d) what the time-frame for the completion of the remaining works is.
166 Mr Kabanda (Serenje) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
(a) when the construction of Pilyeshi Kapilya Community School in Serenje Parliamentary Constituency will commence;
(b) what has caused the delay in commencing the project, considering that building materials have already been procured;
(c) what the name of the contractor is;
(d) how much money has been spent on the project so far; and
(e) what the estimated time-frame for the completion of the project is.
167 Ms Katuta (Chiengi) - to ask the Minister of Energy:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to connect Lambwe-Chomba in Chiengi District to the national electricity grid;
(b) if so, when the project will commence;
(c) what has caused the delay in commencing the project; and
(d) what the total cost of the project is.
168 Mr Bwalya (Lupososhi) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure
Development:
(a) when the Kasaba-Chungu-Luwingu road will be upgraded to bituminous standard;
(b) who the contractor for the project is; and
(c) what the total cost of the project is.

The Banking and Financial Services - Bill to provide for a licensing system for the conduct of banking or financial business and provision of financial services; to provide for the incorporation of standards, principles and concepts of corporate governance in institutional systems and structures of banks and financial institutions; to provide for sound business practices and consumer protection mechanisms; to provide for the regulation and supervision of banking and financial services; to repeal and replace the Banking and Financial Services Act, 1994; and to provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.
