QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

148    Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to rehabilitate feeder roads in Chinsali District in 2017;

(b)    if so, which feeder roads are earmarked for rehabilitation; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

149    Mr L Tembo (Kaumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:

(a)    why the construction of the Kaumbwe Market and the Area Development Committee Office in Kaumbwe Ward in Kaumbwe Parliamentary Constituency, was abandoned;

(b)    when the construction works will resume;

(c)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project is; and

(d)    what the total cost of the project is.

150    Mr Mulunda (Siavonga) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:

(a)    when the rehabilitation of the following feeder roads in Siavonga Parliamentary Constituency will commence:

(i)    Sianyoolo-Dambwe;
(ii)    Sianyoolo-Chimata;
(iii)    Munyama;
(iv)    Manchamvwa;
(v)    Kariba Store-Kawila; and
(vi)    Namoomba-Manyepa; and

(b)    what the cause of the delay in rehabilitating the roads is.

151    Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of General Education:

(a)    whether the Government  has any plans to construct teachers’ houses at the following schools in Chinsali District:

(i)    Mulakupikwa Primary;
(ii)    Chunga Primary;
(iii)    Cheswa Primary; and
(iv)    Mulakupikwa Secondary;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

152    Mr Siwale (Mafinga) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    when the construction of the following hospitals in Mafinga Parliamentay Constituency will be completed:

(i)    Thendere; and
(ii)    Muyombe; and

(b)    what has caused the delay in completing the projects.

153    Dr Chanda (Bwana Mkubwa) - to ask the Minister of Water Development,

         Sanitation and Environmental Protection:

(a)    whether the Government is aware that residents of Itawa, Mushili and Ndeke Townships in Bwana Mkubwa Parliamentary Constituency are supplied with contaminated water by Kafubu Water and

        Sewerage Company; and

(b)    what short and long-term measures the Government is taking to ensure that clean and safe water is supplied to the residents.

154    Mr Kufakwandi (Sesheke) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure
         Development:

(a)    whether the Government is aware that the rehabilitation works on the Sesheke-Livingstone road stalled in March, 2015; and

(b)    if so, when the works will resume, considering that the condition of the road has deteriorated.

155    Mr Kamboni (Kalomo Central) - to ask the Minister of Housing and
        Infrastructure Development:

(a)    why the tarring of township roads in Kalomo District has stalled;

(b)    when the works will resume;

(c)    what the total cost of the project is;

(d)    what the time-frame for the completion of the outstanding works is, and

(e)    what the name of the contractor for the project is.

156    Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture:

(a)    when the Mufumbwe Agriculture District Office will be provided with a motor vehicle to enhance its operations; and

(b)    when additional Agriculture Extension Officers will be deployed to the District.

157    Mr W Banda (Milanzi) - to ask the Minister of Energy:

(a)    when the following institutions in Milanzi Parliamentary Constituency will be electrified:

(i)    Dole Primary School;
(ii)    Chimbundile Primary School
(iii)    Kambila Primary School; and
(iv)    Mindola Rural Health Centre;

(b)    what has caused the delay in electrifying the institutions; and

(c)    whether the transformers that were provided to the institutions are still in good working condition.
