QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

128    Mr M Jere (Livingstone) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:
        
(a)    when the construction of the Town Centre Market in Livingstone will be completed;

(b)    what has caused the delay in completing the project;

(c)    what the cost of the outstanding works is; and

(d)    what the time-frame for the completion of the remaining works is.

129    Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Justice:

(a)    why judicial officers in Kaputa District report to the Luapula Provincial Administration instead of the Northern Provincial Administration; and

(b)    when this anomaly will be rectified.

130    Mr Mung’andu (Chama South) - to ask the Minister of General Education:

(a)    when the following schools in Chama South Parliamentary Constituency will be electrified to enhance the learning environment:

(i)    Kamilala Boarding Secondary;
(ii)    Chikwa Day High; and
(iii)    Chitheba Day High;

(b)    what the time-frame for electrifying each school is; and

(c)    what the total cost of the project is.

131    Mr Kabanda (Serenje) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    when the Government will construct the following infrastructure at the new Serenje District Hospital:

(i)    mortuary;
(ii)    mothers’ shelter; and
(iii)    kitchen;

(b)    when beds will be procured for the Hospital; and

(c)    when additional medical staff will be deployed to the Hospital.

132    Mr Kasandwe (Bangweulu) - to ask the Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection:

(a)    when the water reticulation project in Samfya District will commence;

(b)    what has caused the delay in commencing the project; and

(c)    what the estimated time-frame for the completion of the project is.

133    Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of Community Development and Social Welfare what measures the Government has taken to reduce the number of disabled persons begging on the streets of Lusaka.

134    Mr M Jere (Livingstone) - to ask the Minister of Youth, Sport and Child Development:

(a)    when construction of a modern stadium in Livingstone will commence;

(b)    what has caused the delay in commencing the project;

(c)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project is; and

(d)    what the estimated cost of the project is.

135    Mr Kasandwe (Bangweulu) - to ask the Minister of Housing and
        Infrastructure Development:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to upgrade, to bituminous standard, the Kalubanshi-Milenge road in Bangweulu Parliamentary Constituency;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

136    Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    when construction works on the Mumbwa Road from Lumumba Road junction to Garden House Hotel will be completed; and

(b)    what has caused the delay in completing the project.

137    Mr Kamboni (Kalomo Central) - to ask the Minister of Livestock and Fisheries:

(a)    when an artificial insemination machine will be procured for the Artificial Insemination Centre in Kalomo District;

(b)    what the cost of procuring and delivering the machine is; and

(c)    what has caused the delay in procuring the machine.
