QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

113    Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Community Development and Social Welfare:

(a)    whether additional beneficiaries of the Social Cash Transfer Scheme in Chinsali District have been identified;

(b)    if so, what the total number of additional beneficiaries is; and

(c)    when disbursement of money to the additional beneficiaries will commence.

114    Ms Katuta (Chiengi) - to ask the Minister of General Education:

(a)    when the following schools in Chiengi District will be upgraded to secondary schools:

(i)    Lambwe Chomba;
(ii)    Lambwe Chikwama; and
(iii)    Musake;

(b)    when the construction of science and computer laboratories at the schools will commence; and

(c)    whether the Government has any plans to construct additional classroom blocks at the schools.

115    Dr Chanda (Bwana Mkubwa) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:

(a)    whether the Government is aware that the land reserved for public infrastructure in Mushili and Chichele Townships in Bwana Mkubwa Parliamentary Constituency, has been allocated to private investors by the Ndola City Council;

(b)    why the Council decided to change the land usage; and

(c)    whether the Government will repossess the land and use it for the initially intended purposes.

116    Mr Chabi (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    what the names of the contractors for the following construction projects in Chipili District are:

(i)    civic centre;
(ii)    ten low cost council houses;
(iii)    police station; and
(iv)    district administration block;

(b)    when the works on each project commenced;

(c)    what the total cost for each project is; and

(d)    what the time-frame for the completion of each project is.

117    Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to construct:

(i)    staff houses for police officers in Mufumbwe District; and

(ii)    a prison in the District;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

118    Mr Kamboni (Kalomo Central) - to ask the Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection:

(a)    when the thirty boreholes which were planned for in 2015 in Kalomo Central Parliamentary Constituency will be sunk;

(b)    what has caused the delay in commencing the project; and

(c)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project is.

119    Mr Kabanda (Serenje) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:

(a)    why the rehabilitation of township roads in Serenje District has stalled;

(b)    when the project will resume; and

(c)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project is.

120    Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Health:
        
(a)    what the ranking of Zambia by the World Health Organisation in terms of malnutrition currently is;

(b)    what criteria are used to determine the ranking; and

(c)    what measures the Government has taken to improve the ranking.

121    Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:

(a)    when the rehabilitation of Nanjili Bridge between Nangoma Mission Hospital and Nangoma Primary School will commence; and

(b)    what the cause of the delay in rehabilitating the Bridge is.
   

122    Mr S Miti (Feira) - to ask the Minister of Local Government:

(a)    when the tarring of township roads in Feira Parliamentary Constituency will commence; and

(b)    what the time-frame for the completion of the project is.
