QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER
93 Ms M Miti (Vubwi) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
(a) whether the Government is aware that the Vubwi Bridge, which was constructed as a temporary bridge by the Zambia National Service in the 1990s, is in a dilapidated state;
(b) if so, when the Bridge will be rehabilitated to prevent loss of life; and
(c) when a permanent bridge will be constructed in order to cater for the increased traffic.
94 Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of Water Development, Sanitation and Environmental Protection:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to construct additional dams in Nangoma Parliamentary Constituency;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented;
(c) if there are no such plans, why; and
(d) when the rehabilitation of Mambulwe Dam will commence.
95 Mr Kasandwe (Bangweulu) - to ask the Minister of Health when the newly commissioned Chinsanka Clinic in Bangweulu Parliamentary Constituency will be provided with an ambulance.
96 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Energy:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to electrify the following places in Chinsali Parliamentary Constituency under the Rural Electrification Programme:
(i) Musanya Village;
(ii) Mulakupikwa Village;
(iii) Chikwemba Village; and
(iv) Mulilansolo Secondary School;
(b) if so, when the plans will be implemented; and
(c) if there are no such plans, why.
97 Ms Katuta (Chiengi) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
(a) when the construction of Mununga Police Station in Chiengi District will commence;
(b) who the contractor for the project is;
(c) what the cost of the project is; and
(d) what the time-frame for the completion of the project is.
98 Mr Mukosa (Chinsali) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
(a) when the rehabilitation of the Great North Road from Mpika to Nakonde will commence;
(b) whether the contractor for the project has already been identified;
(c) if so, what the name of the contractor is;
(d) if not, when a contractor will be engaged;
(e) what the time-frame for completing the project is; and
(f) what the estimated cost of the project is.
99 Mr L Tembo (Kaumbwe) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
(a) why the construction of Mwanjawanthu Boarding School in Kaumbwe Parliamentary Constituency was abandoned in 2009, despite a borehole being sunk at the site;
(b) when the works will resume;
(c) what the time-frame for the completion of the project is; and
(d) what the total cost of the project is.
100 Mr M Jere (Livingstone) - to ask the Minister of Youth, Sport and Child Development:
(a) when the rehabilitation of Maramba Stadium in Livingstone will be completed;
(b) what has caused the delay in completing the project;
(c) what the total amount spent so far on the project is; and
(d) what the time-frame for the completion of the remaining works is.
101 Mr Mulunda (Siavonga) - to ask the Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Development:
(a) why the construction of Manyepa Clinic in Nanyanga Ward in Siavonga Parliamentary Constituency has stalled;
(b) when the construction works will resume;
(c) who the contractor for the project is; and
(d) what the time-frame for the completion of the project is.
102 Mr Kamondo (Mufumbwe) - to ask the Minister of General Education:
(a) when the construction of Mufumbwe Boarding Secondary School in Mufumbwe District will be completed; and
(b) when the following primary schools in the District will be designated as examination centres:
(i) Kabipupu; and
(ii) Jairos Fumpa.

Report of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Affairs: That this House do adopt the Report of the Committee on National Security and Foreign Affairs on the proposal to ratify the International Convention for the Suppression of Terrorist Bombings; the International Convention on Terrorism Financing; and the International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism, laid on the Table of the House on Monday, 20th February, 2017.
