QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

18    Ms Mwape (Mkushi North) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
        
(a)    when the Masansa Police Post in Mkushi North Parliamentary Constituency will be upgraded to a police station;

(b)    how many police posts are earmarked for construction in the Constituency in 2017 in order to enhance the security situation; and

(c)    where the police posts will be situated.

19    Mr Chansa (Chimbamilonga) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:    
        
(a)    what the total number of refugees from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda that entered the country through the Mpulungu Port from January, 2015 to September, 2016, is;

(b)    how long it takes for refugees to be transferred from transit camps to refugee camps;

(c)    which institution is responsible for transferring refugees from transit camps to refugee camps; and

(d)    whether the Government avails resources to authorities in Mpulungu to take care of refugees prior to their transfer to refugee camps.

20    Mr Miyanda (Mapatizya) - to ask the Minister of Defence when the following feeder roads in Mapatizya Parliamentary Constituency will be rehabilitated:

(a)    Luyaba to Mafumba;

(b)    Chidi to Mafuta;

(c)    Mondilida via Kanyanga to Siejumba;

(d)    Chinkoyo to Mulamfu;

(e)    Zimba via Muzya to Manyemunyemu;

(f)    Chuundwe via Mafumba to Kanyanga;

(g)    Siampondo to Kamukeza Community School;

(h)    Kabanga to Sianjina; and

(i)    Siamono via Njabalombe to Luyaba.

21    Dr Chanda (Bwana Mkubwa) - to ask the Minister of Finance:

(a)    why Zambia’s trade surplus declined from US$1,625.4 million in 2014 to US$74.3 million in 2015;

(b)    whether the fall in the trade surplus has negatively affected the country’s balance of payments and, if so, how; and

(c)    what measures the Government is taking to address the trade imbalances with foreign trading partners and ensure that the country engages in free and fair trade.
