QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

10    Ms O Phiri (Nyimba) - to ask the Minister of Livestock and Fisheries:

(a)    when the Nyimba Livestock Marketing Centre will become operational; and

(b)    what has caused the delay in operationalising the Centre.

11    Mr Chansa (Chimbamilonga) - to ask the Minister of Transport and Communication when the Government will procure a vessel to ease transport problems between Nsumbu and Mpulungu on Lake Tanganyika.

12    Mr Chansa (Chimbamilonga) - to ask the Minister of Transport and Communication when the Government will facilitate the construction of communication towers in the following areas in Mpulungu District:

(a)    Vyamba;

(b)    Iyendwe;

(c)    Kalongola;

(d)    Musakanya;

(e)    Kasakalawe; and

(f)    Kopeka.

13    Mr Chansa (Chimbamilonga) - to ask the Minister of Defence:
        
(a)    what the total number of earthmoving equipment being used by the Zambia National Service on feeder roads, country-wide, is;

(b)    how the equipment is distributed in the following Provinces:

(i)    Northern;
(ii)    Eastern;
(iii)    Western;
(iv)    Southern;
(v)    North-Western; and
(vi)    Luapula; and

(c)    whether the Government has any plans to allocate additional equipment to cater for all the districts, country-wide.
