2.    Announcement by Mr Speaker, - Mr Speaker informed the House that in the 

absence of Hon Yamfwa Mukanga, Minister of Works and Supply, who was Acting Leader of Government Business in the House, Hon Dr N Simbyakula, MP, Minister of Justice had been appointed Acting Leader of Government Business in the House from Friday, 22nd April, 2016 until further notice.

3.    The House considered Questions for Oral Answer Nos. 404 -406.

4.    The Immigration and Deportation (Amendment), - Bill to amend the 

Immigration and Deportation Act, 2010, - presented by the Minister of Home Affairs, read the first time; and referred to the Committee on National Security and Foreign Affairs for examination, until Tuesday, 3rd May, 2016. - (N.A.B 13/2016)

5.    The High Court (Amendment) – Bill to amend the High Court Act, - presented by

the Minister of Justice, read the first time; and referred to the Committee on Legal Affairs, Governance, Human Rights, Gender Matters and Child Affairs, for examination until Wednesday, 4th May, 2016. – (N.A.B 15/2016)

6.    Report of the Committee on Lands, Environment and Tourism, - Resolved, That 

this House do adopt the Report of the Committee on Lands, Environment and Tourism for the Fifth Session of the Eleventh National Assembly, laid on the Table of the House on 7th April, 2016. – (Mr Mwewa, MP)

7.    Report of the Committee on Agriculture, - Resolved, That this House do adopt

the Report of the Committee on Agriculture on the Auditor General’s Report on the Management and Control of Livestock Diseases for the Fifth Session of the Eleventh National Assembly, laid on the Table of the House on 7th April, 2016. – (Mr Chipungu, MP)

8.    The Parliamentary Service Bill, (N.A.B 4/2016), as amended, considered, to be read the third time on Tuesday.

9    The National Assembly (Powers and Privileges) (Amendment) Bill, (N.A.B 5/2016), as amended, considered, to be read the third time on Tuesday.    

10.    Adjournment, - Resolved, That the House do now adjourn.  (The Minister of Justice)
