2.    Ministerial Statement, - The Minister of Agriculture made a statement on the 

food security situation in the country following a Point of Order raised by the Hon Member of Parliament for Mpongwe, Mr G Namulambe, MP on 14th April, 2016 and updated the House on the availability of the staple food in the country.

3.    Ministerial Statement, - The Minister of Home Affairs made a statement on the

suspected ritual killings and looting of shops in the high density areas of Lusaka and briefed the House on the measures taken to restore peace and order in the city.

4.    The House considered Questions for Oral Answer Nos. 397 -399.

5.    The Public Protector - Bill to provide for the functions, powers, operations and

financial management of the Office of Public Protector; provide for the initiation and investigation of complaints; repeal and replace the Commission for Investigations Act, 1991; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing, - presented by the Minister of Justice, read the first time; and referred to the Committee on Delegated Legislation for examination, until Thursday, 28th April, 2016. - (N.A.B. 7/2016)

6.    Report of the Committee on Communications, Transport, Works and Supply,

- Resolved, That this House do adopt the Report of the Committee on Communications, Transport, Works and Supply for the Fifth Session of the Eleventh National Assembly, laid on the Table of the House on 5th April, 2016. – (Mr Belemu, MP)

7.    Adjournment, - Resolved, That the House do now adjourn.  (The Minister of Works and Supply)
