  1. Ministerial Statement, - The Minister of Energy and Water Development made a 

statement on the connection of North-Western Province to the national electricity grid and briefed the House on the progress of the project.

  1. Ministerial Statement, - The Minister of Local Government and Housing made a 

statement on the management of Bus Stations country-wide following a Point of Order raised by the Hon Member of Parliament for Senanga, Mr L Mufalali, MP, on 24th February, 2016 and briefed the House on the measures taken by the Government to ensure that bus stations were managed by authorised persons.

  1. Ministerial Statement, - The Minister of Works and Supply made a statement on 

the construction projects at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport and the new International Airport in Ndola and apprised the House on the progress made on the two projects.

  1. The House considered Questions for Oral Answer Nos. 339 – 343.
  2. Report of the Committee on Estimates, - Resolved, That this House do adopt 

the Report of the Committee on Estimates on the Supplementary Provision Warrant No.2 of 2016. – (Mr Hamududu, MP)

(c)    on page 15, in lines 14 to 16, by the deletion of the definition of “Air Operator’s Certificate or AOC” and the substitution therefor of the following new definition:

“Air Operator’s Certificate or AOC” means a Certificate authorising an operator to carry out specified commercial air transport operations;”; 

(d)    on page 18, in line 6, by the deletion of the words “a member of ”and the substitution therefor of the words “a person authorised in writing by”; and

(e)    on page 20, immediately after line 21, by the insertion of the following new definition:

Clause 123:

“(1)    An air navigation services provider shall, on an annual basis develop and adopt a programme on the provision of  safe, secure, regular and smooth air navigation services in accordance with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices”. – (The Minister of Transport and Communication)
