Report of the Parliamentary Select Committee appointed to scrutinise the Presidential Appointment of Hon Mr Justice Martin Musaluke, Hon Mr Justice Egispo Mwansa, Hon Mr Justice Mathew Kasonde Chisunka, Hon Mr Justice Edward Luputa Musona and Hon Mr Justice Derrick Mulenga to serve as High Court Judges, for the Fifth Session of the Eleventh National Assembly (29.02.16) (Mr Chipungu, MP)

  1. Announcement by Mr Speaker, - Mr Speaker informed the House that he had 

authorised Phil Opticians Limited to conduct a four-day free eye screening exercise for Hon Members of Parliament and staff.  The exercise was aimed at creating awareness on the importance of good eye care as well as identifying undetected vision problems.

He stated that the exercise would take place from 1st March to 4th March, 2016 between 0900 hours and 1600 hours in Committee Room 5, Parliament Buildings and urged all Hon Members to visit the Committee Room.

  1. Ministerial Statement, - The Minister of Tourism and Arts made a statement on 

the transformation of the Zambia Wildlife Authority into a Department of National Parks and Wildlife under the Ministry of Tourism and Arts and apprised the House on the progress of the exercise.

  1. Ministerial Statement, - The Minister of Tourism and Arts made a statement on 

KAZA Univisa Project and the Electronic Visa System and briefed the House on the achievements of the pilot project.

“proliferation” means an act by any person who by any means, directly or indirectly, wilfully or negligently provides funds or financial services with the intention that the funds or financial services should be used or knowing that they are to be used in whole or in part, for the manufacture, acquisition, possession, development, export, trans-shipment, brokering, transport, transfer, stockpiling or use of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons and their means of delivery and related materials, including both technologies and dual use of goods used for non-legitimate purpose;”. – (The Minister of Finance)
