QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

621    Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education:

(a)    when the construction of Mununga and Nabwalya Secondary Schools in Mfuwe Parliamentary Constituency will commence; and

(b)    when the Government will send teachers to all the community schools in the Constituency.

622    Mr Livune (Katombola) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education when construction of science laboratories at the following Secondary Schools in Kazungula District will commence:
        
(a)    Musokotwane;

(b)    Nyawa;

(c)    Simango; and

(d)    Mukuni.

623    Mr Lufuma (Kabompo West) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs when police posts will be constructed at the following locations in the North-Western Province to enhance security:

(a)    Mumbeji, along the M8 Road; and

(b)    Kayombo.

624    Mr Mwila (Chipili) - to ask the Minister of Transport, Works, Supply and Communication:

(a)    what the financial status of Zambia Railways Limited was as of April, 2014;

(b)    how much profit the Company made in 2013; and

(c)    what the future plans of the Company, in terms of recapitalisation, are.

625    Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs whether the
        Government has any plans to limit the number of churches in the country.

626    Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock:

(a)    what species of fish are found in Western Province, particularly in the Zambezi and Lwanginga Rivers and surrounding lakes;

(b)    which species are commonly fished; and

(c)    what the impact of the annual fish ban, on increasing the fish stocks in the Province has been.

627    Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Transport, Works, Supply and Communication:

(a)    when the Government will ban the movement of heavy trucks and buses at night; and

(b)    what immediate measures the Government has taken to reduce road traffic accidents.

628    Mr Katuka (Mwinilunga) - to ask the Minister of Justice when the following Local Courts in Mwinilunga Parliamentary Constituency will be rehabilitated:

(a)    Kakoma;

(b)    Sailunga; and

(c)    Kanongesha.

629    Mr Lufuma (Kabompo West) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education:

(a)    when the construction of Chikenge Secondary School in Chief Kalunga’s area in Kabompo District will commence; and

(b)    when construction of three Colleges of Excellency in Mathematics and Science in the following Provinces will commence:

(i)    Eastern;
(ii)    North-Western; and
(iii)    Western.

QUESTION FOR WRITTEN ANSWER

W33    Mr Mbulakulima (Chembe) - to ask the Minister of Transport, Works, Supply and Communication:

(a)    what the progress on the Link Zambia 8000 Road Project was in relation to the following as of April, 2014:

(i)    total kilometres covered;
(ii)    expenditure; and
(iii)    meeting priorities set out in Phases I and II; and

(b)    why the following roads have not been worked on in accordance with priorities in Phases I and II:

(i)    Chembe-Milenge;
(ii)    Itezhi-tezhi-Mumbwa;
(iii)    Kawambwa-Mushota-Luwingu;
(iv)    Kashikishi-Chiengi-Kaputa; and
(v)    Musaila-Lubwe-Kasaba-Luwingu.
