QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

147    Mr Ndalamei (Sikongo) - to ask the Vice President:

(a)    whether the Government is aware that the hunger situation in Sikongo District has deteriorated due to crop failure;

(b)    if so, when additional relief food will be sent to the District;

(c)    whether it is Government policy to provide relief food only on production of Voter’s Cards; and

(d)    if it is not, when the Government will stop the practice which is prevailing in Sikongo District.

148    Mr Namulambe (Mpongwe) - to ask the Vice President what measures the Government is taking to accelerate development in Masaiti, Mpongwe and Lufwanyama Districts, which have lagged behind in development, compared to the rest of the districts in the Copperbelt Province.
