99    Mr Livune (Katombola) - to ask the Minister of Transport and Communication:

(a)    why the Zambia Postal Services Corporation is retrenching its employees;

(b)    what the total number of employees retrenched as of 8th October, 2015, is;

(c)    how many workers are earmarked for retrenchment;

(d)    whether all the retrenched workers have been paid their retrenchment benefits; and

(e)    who is financing the retrenchment exercise.

100    Mr Mbulakulima (Chembe) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply:

(a)    when the culvet, which was washed away, at Mapula Dam in Chembe Parliamentary Constituency will be replaced;

(b)    when the embankment at Mapula Dam will be rehabilitated; and

(c)    what measures have been taken, in the interim, to avert a looming disaster at the Dam.

101    Mr Mulomba (Magoye) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply:

(a)    when speed humps will be constructed on the Mazabuka-Livingstone Highway at Tandabale in Magoye Parliamentary Constituency; and

(b)    what the cost of the project is.

102    Mr Ntundu (Gwembe) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply:

(a)    when the tarring of the Gwembe-Chipepo road will commence;

(b)    what the name of the contractor for the project is; and

(c)    what the cost of the project is.

103    Mr I Banda (Lumezi) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture when renovation of houses at the following Agricultural Camps in Chasefu Parliamentary Constituency will commence:

(a)    Malandula;

(b)    Munyukwa;

(c)    Mkwalo;

(d)    Khulamayembe; and

(e)    Kamuzowole.

104    Mr Kazabu (Nkana) - to ask the Vice President:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to re-introduce competence examinations in the civil service to enhance professionalism and efficiency;

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented; and

(c)    if there are no such plans, why.

105    Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing:

(a)    what has caused the delay in completing the street lighting project in Kalabo District;

(b)    what measures have been taken to ensure that the project is completed on time; and

(c)    when the project will be completed.

106    Mr P Phiri (Mkaika) - to ask the Minister of General Education when Chimtende and Chisale Schools in Mkaika Parliamentary Constituency will be electrified.

107    Mr Mbulakulima (Chembe) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a)    when construction of a police post at Mungo Lukuta in Chembe Parliamentary Constituency will commence; and

(b)    what security measures have been taken, in the interim, to protect lives and secure property in the area.

108    Mr Antonio (Kaoma Central) - to ask the Minister of Transport and Communication when the Government will facilitate the erection of a communication tower in Chief Kasimba’s area in Kaoma District.
