QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER
87 Mr Namulambe (Mpongwe) - to ask the Minister of Transport, Works, Supply and Communication:
(a) when the Pave Zambia 2000 Project will be extended to Mpongwe District; and
(b) if the project will not be extended to the District, why.
88 Mr Mbulakulima (Chembe) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) what has caused the delay in completing Phase I of the construction works of Milenge District Hospital;
(b) when the works will be completed;
(c) when the completed Phase II of the Hospital will be opened; and
(d) when works under Phase III will commence.
89 Mr I Banda (Lumezi) - to ask the Minister of Health:
(a) when construction of a maternity wing at Mwimba Health Post in Lumezi Parliamentary Constituency will commence;
(b) what has caused the delay in commencing the project;
(c) what the cost of the project is; and
(d) what the time-frame for completing the project is.
90 Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:
(a) whether the Government has any plans to decentralize the operations of the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission to all the provinces;
(b) if so, when; and
(c) how the Commission implements its programmes in rural areas and other districts where it has no offices.
91 Mr Pande (Kasempa) - to ask the Minister of Transport, Works, Supply and Communication:
(a) what benefits the Zambian Government derives from the contract with Japan Export Vehicles Inspection Centre (JEVIC) which is responsible for inspecting used motor vehicles imported from Japan;
(b) how much money, from the contract, on average per annum, is realised by the Zambian Government;
(c) who signed the contract with JEVIC on behalf of the Zambian Government; and
(d) what the tenure of the contract is.
