QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

71    Mr Namulambe (Mpongwe) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock:

(a)    what Government policy on importation of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) food stuffs is; and

(b)    besides maize, what other GMO food stuffs are more likely to be imported into the country.

72    Mr Mbulakulima (Chembe) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a)    when the construction of Milenge Police Station will commence;

(b)    what the estimated cost of the project is; and

(c)    what the time-frame for the project is.

73    Mr Mufalali (Senanga) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing:

(a)    how many retirees from Senanga District Council were not paid their terminal benefits as of July 2015;

(b)    what has caused the delay in paying the retirees;

(c)    how much money, in total, is owed to the retirees; and

(d)    when all the retirees will be paid.

74    Ms Miti (Vubwi) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:

(a)    when the Police in Vubwi District will be provided with motor vehicles to enhance their operations; and

(b)    when the staff houses at Vubwi Police Camp, which are in a dilapidated state, will be rehabilitated.

75    Mr I Banda (Lumezi) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock:

(a)    when the small holder irrigation scheme at Luwelezi Dam in Chasefu Parliamentary Constituency will be operationalised; and

(b)    what the estimated cost of establishing the scheme is.
