QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

61    Mr Hamusonde (Nangoma) - to ask the Minister of Tourism and Art:

(a)    why the Government evicted the villagers from the Game Management Area (GMA) 14 in Nalusanga area in Mumbwa District without giving them an alternative place to settle;

(b)    whether the Government will provide an alternative place for the villagers to settle before they become destitute;

(c)    if so, where they will be settled; and

(d)    when they will be settled.

62    Mr Namulambe (Mpongwe) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs which category of foreign nationals are allowed to work under the following conditions:

(a)    with work permits; and

(b)    without work permits.

63    Mr Mbulakulima (Chembe) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education:

(a)    when the construction of Chibende and Kafwanka Secondary Schools in Chembe Parliamentary Constituency will commence considering that the local communities have already moulded bricks; and

(b)    what other contributions towards the projects are required by the communities.

64    Mr I Banda (Lumezi) - to ask the Minister of Mines, Energy and Water Development:

(a)    how many dams are earmarked for construction and rehabilitation in Chasefu Parliamentary Constituency in 2015 and 2016;

(b)    what the cost of rehabilitating each dam is; and

(c)    when construction of dams at the following areas of the Constituency will commence:

(i)    Manyi;
(ii)    Gumba;
(iii)    Nkhanga;
(iv)    Mtwalo;
(v)    Chibango; and
(vi)    Munyukwa.

65    Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a)    what measures the Government is taking to reduce the deficiency of vitamin A among the Zambian population following a statement by the World Health Organisation on the severe deficiency; and

(b)    which organisations the Government is working with to reduce the deficiency.

66    Mr Mufalali (Senanga) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing:

(a)    why Senanga District Council has delayed in issuing title deeds to property owners who bought former council houses in Nzuli Compound; and

(b)    when the title deeds will be issued.

67    Mr Antonio (Kaoma Central) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing how many boreholes are earmarked for sinking in Nkeyema District in 2015 and, if none, why.

68    Mr P Phiri (Mkaika) - to ask the Minister of Community Development, Mother and Child Health:

(a)    when Kwenye Health Post in Mkaika Parliamentary Constituency will be opened to the public; and

(b)    how many trained staff will be deployed to the Centre.

69    Mr Sichalwe (Chawama) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing:

(a)    what measures the Government will take to ensure a smooth flow of traffic at the junctions of the Kafue-Chawama-Makeni roads in view of the numerous shopping malls around the area; and

(b)    when the measures will be implemented.

70    Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock:

(a)    whether the Government has any plans to promote the production of biofuel from sugarcane, cassava, palm oil switchgrass and related plants; and

(b)    if so, when the plans will be implemented.
