QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER
128 Mr Mushanga (Bwacha) - to ask the Minister of Mines, Energy and Water Development when the following Wards in Bwacha Parliamentary Constituency will be electrified under the Rural Electrification Authority Programme:
(a) Munga;
(b) Chinyanja;
(c) Munyama;
(d) Muwowo West; and
(e) Muwowo East.
129 Mr I Banda (Lumezi) - to ask the Minister of Transport, Works, Supply and Communication:
(a) when the tarring of the road linking Eastern Province to Muchinga Province will commence;
(b) why the road is not on the Link Zambia 8000 Road Project;
(c) what the source of funds for tarring the road is; and
(d) what has caused the delay in upgrading the road.
130 Mr Ng’onga (Kaputa) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing:
(a) whether traders are allowed to conduct their business operations at shopping malls that are still under construction; and
(b) what measures are taken to protect the lives of the shopping public at such premises.
131 Mr Miyutu (Kalabo Central) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education:
(a) what the causes of the poor performance by Grade 12 pupils at Kalabo and Lukona Secondary Schools in Kalabo District are; and
(b) what the teacher-pupil ratio at the two schools is.
132 Mr Antonio (Kaoma Central) - to ask the Minister of Justice:
(a) when a local court will be built at Mawilo in Nkeyema District considering that the District already has a local court officer; and
(b) when the Kalumwange Local Court in Lalafuta Ward will be rehabilitated.
133 Mr Sichula (Nakonde) - to ask the Minister of Education, Science, Vocational Training and Early Education:
(a) when the construction of the Nakonde Secondary School will be completed;
(b) what the total cost of the project is;
(c) how much money had been spent on the project as of 30th June, 2014;
(d) what the time-frame for completion of the project is; and
(e) when the School will be renamed Donald Siwale Secondary School.
134 Ms Imenda (Luena) - to ask the Minister of Transport, Works, Supply and Communication:
(a) when the construction of the Miulwe-Nangula and Limulunga-Mushitwambunu roads in Luena Parliamentary Constituency will commence; and
(b) what has caused the delay in commencing the construction works.
135 Mr Mpundu (Nchelenge) - to ask the Minister of Community Development, Mother and Child Health when the construction of Toka Toka Health Post in Nchelenge Parliamentary Constituency will be completed.
136 Mr Chipungu (Rufunsa) - to ask the Minister of Transport, Works, Supply and Communication:
(a) when a bridge across Lunsemfwa River connecting the Chiefdoms of Shikabeta and Mbosha will be constructed; and
(b) what the estimated cost of the project is.
137 Mr Sianga (Sesheke) - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs:
(a) when the construction works at the Sesheke One Stop Border Post will be completed; and
(b) when staff houses will be constructed.
QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER
W1 Mr P Phiri (Mkaika) - to ask the Minister of Community Development, Mother and Child Health:
(a) how many women groups, by name, in Katete District, benefited from the Women Empowerment Fund in 2012 and 2013;
(b) how much money was disbursed to each group; and
(c) how much, in total, was disbursed to the District.
W2 Mr Sichula (Nakonde) - to ask the Minister of Finance:
(a) how much money, in form of Toll Tax, the Government collected from Nakonde District between 2011 and 2014, year by year; and
(b) of the amount collected, how much was allocated to various projects in Nakonde and on what projects.
