QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

170 Mr Kasongo - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply when the Serenje/Samfya/Mansa road will be resurfaced.

171 Mr Kasongo - to ask the Minister of Education when the following schools will be upgraded to high school status:

(i) Kalasamukoso Basic School;
(ii) Kabanga Basic School;
(iii) Kasoma Bangweulu Basic School; and
(iv) Chitundwa Basic School.

172 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development what strategic fuel stocks were held as of 31st December, 2005.

173 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development when the electrification of Katuta Kampemba in Mambilima Parliamentary Constituency will commence.

174 Mr Kasongo - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning what steps have been taken by the Government to make pension schemes sustainable.

175 Mr Kasongo - to ask the Minister of Health what measures have been taken to reform the health care systems in order to cope with the rapid increase in the number of the elderly.

176 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply:

(a) when the rehabilitation of the Mansa/Luwingu/Kasama road will commence;

(b) what is the time frame for completion; and

(c) what was the status of the road works on the Chiengi/Kaputa road as of 31st December, 2005.

177 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Home Affairs when immigration and police posts will be established at Katuta Kampemba bordering the DRC in Mambilima Parliamentary Constituency.

178 Mr Kasongo - to ask the Minister of Health what measures have been put in place to increase life expectancy in Zambia.

179 Mr Kasongo - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry what measures have the Government taken to increase both local and foreign investment in rural areas.
