200 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Health:

(a) when Mambilima Hospital will be accorded district hospital status; and

(b) when Mambilima Hospital will be provided with a medical doctor.

201 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development when the Mines and Minerals Act will be amended to accommodate environmental concerns.

202 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Community Development and Social Services:

(a) what action was put in place to build capacity, foresight and accountability in the management of the Zambia Agency for Persons with Disability from 1996 to 2005; and

(b) whether there was any donor assistance to support the activities at (a) above in the same period.

203 Mr Chama - to ask the Minister of Education when Chipampe, Mushota and Chibote High Schools in Kawambwa District will be electrified.

204 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development how many boreholes have been drilled in the Mambilima Parliamentary Constituency from 1990 to-date.

205 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:

(a) what new markets were developed for export from 2001 to 2005; and

(b) what financial instruments have been developed for export credit from 1996 to 2005.

206 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:

(a) what has been the impact of the withdrawal of the British
Airways cargo flights on ZEGA’s agricultural exports; and

(b) what has been lost in monetary value and tonnage.

207 Mr Chama - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development when feasibility studies for construction of a hydro-electric plant at Lumangwe Falls in Kawambwa District will be undertaken.

208 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Energy and Water Development what has been done to improve the performance of oil
marketing companies in Zambia since January, 2005.

209 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services what is the update on the Government website and its functions of updating on the development activities and economic development.

210 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning when the Reference Credit Bureau will be implemented to improve the poor credit culture.

Report of the Select Committee to Scrutinise the Appointment of Mr Bradford Umbanga Malumbe to serve as Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission: That this House do adopt the Report of the Select Committee, for the Fifth Session of the Ninth National Assembly, laid on the Table of the House on 28th March, 2006, to scrutinise the appointment of Mr Bradford Umbanga Malumbe to serve as Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission.
