QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

238 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

(a) what is the projected usage of the HIPC savings in the next five years to 2010;

(b) how much of the funds accrued as of 31st December, 2005; and

(c) how were the funds utilised as of 31st December, 2005.

239 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

(a) what foreign credit facilities were available to the business community as of 31st December, 2005;

(b) which of the facilities at (a) above were for the following:

(i) enterprises development projects; and
(ii) export oriented facilities.

(c) how are the facilities accessed;

(d) what are the conditionalities and interest rates; and

(e) how long has the facility been available.

QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER

W33 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General what was achieved in strengthening the institutions of good governance from 1990 to 2005, year by year.

W34 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Vice-President:

(a) what has been done to empower the people from 1990 to 2005, year by year;

(b) what is the policy on employment; and

(c) what has been projected up to 2010 in regard to (a) and (b) above.

W35 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs:

(a) with which countries did Zambia have diplomatic representation as of 31st December, 2005;

(b) who were Zambia’s representatives in the embassies above;

(c) when were they appointed in their respective positions; and

(d) when the contracts for each one of them will expire.

W36 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Foreign Affairs what were the achievements and failures of Zambia’s foreign missions abroad from 1990 to 2005, year by year.
