240 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

(a) what were the contents of the Letter of Intent to the International Monetary Fund as of 31st December, 2005; and

(b) what are the benchmarks contained in the document at (a) above.

241 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

(a) what are the projected levels of unemployment in the next five years to 2010; and

(b) what was the level of unemployment as of 2005.

242 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning:

(a) what have been the macro-economic implications of the high copper prices on the Zambian economy; and

(b) what economic fundamentals have been taken to cushion the fluctuation of the high copper prices which is a temporary phenomenon.

QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER

W37 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Vice-President:

(a) what development capital projects were initiated and completed by the Government in Luapula Province from 1990 to 2005; and

(b) what was the cost of each project in the same period.

W38 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry:

(a) how many industries were created in the Zambian economy from 1996 to 2005, sector by sector;

(b) whether there have been any sectors that have collapsed and, if so, why and how many; and

(c) what is being done to address the problems.

W39 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply:

(a) what are the names of the roads that were constructed in Luapula Province, district by district,
(b) from 1990 to 2005;

(b) what was the cost of each project; and

(c) when was each project started and completed.

W40 Mr Kalifungwa - to ask the Minister of Lands:

(a) how many boundary disputes were recorded between Zambia and neighbouring countries from 1990 to 2005, year by year, and which countries were involved; and

(b) what was the outcome in each of the cases.
