QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

31 Mr Nkombo (Mazabuka Central) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing:

(a) what the water consumption demand for the country is, province by province;

(b) how much money is required to satisfy the demand above; and

(c) when the Government will meet this demand.

32 Mr Simuusa (Nchanga) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development what the status of the ZCCM Investment Holdings gemstone project is.

33 Mr Simuusa (Nchanga) - to ask the Minister of Mines and Minerals Development who are the holders of the mining rights for the waste dumps in Chingola that were taken over by the ZCCM Investment Holdings Plc at the time of the privatisation of the mines but were recently offered to some Chingola residents.

34 Mr Chazangwe (Choma Central) - to ask the Minister of Education when more centres for continuing education for adults will be opened.

35 Mr Chazangwe (Choma Central) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Co-operatives:

(a) what immediate plans the Ministry has to increase the cattle population which has drastically reduced country-wide due to various diseases over the years; and

(b) whether any financial institutions will be established to provide loans for the cattle-stocking programme in order to increase the cattle population in Zambia.
