QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER

48 Mr Chimbaka (Bahati) - to ask the Minister of Sport, Youth and Child Development whether there are any plans to operationalise programmes at the Chibalashi, Mbaso and Lukangaba Youth Projects in Bahati Parliamentary Constituency.

49 Mr Malama (Mfuwe) - to ask the Minister of Local Government and Housing:

(a) whether the Ministry has any plans to construct a modern bus station at the make-shift bus station near the Independence Stadium in Lusaka in order to decongest the Lusaka Inter-City Terminus and to cater for the routes to Central, Copperbelt, Luapula and Northern Provinces;

(b) how much revenue the Lusaka City Council has collected from the bus station at (a) above from 2005 to 2008; and

(c) whether the make-shift bus station at (a) above is authorised by the Lusaka City Council.

50 Mrs E M Banda (Chililabombwe) - to ask the Minister of Education:

(a) how many community schools are in Chililabombwe Parliamentary Constituency; and

(b) whether the schools at (a) above receive any assistance from the Government and, if so, what assistance did they receive from 2006 to 2008, school by school.

51 Mr Simuusa (Nchanga) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply when the Government will repair the Luano and Kamuchanga Bridges in Kapisha Ward in Chingola.

52 Mr Chazangwe (Choma Central) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Co-operatives:

(a) how many tractors were bought and distributed to districts from 2006 to 2008 in order to ensure food security in view of the looming climatic changes; and

(b) whether the Government has any plans to buy more tractors for the above programme.

53 Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Minister of Education when the Ministry will provide furniture for both teachers and pupils at the following upper basic schools in Chilubi Parliamentary  Constituency:

(i) Mwanambulu;
(ii) Kawena;
(iii) Mayuka;
(iv) Chabu;
(v) Kasansha;
(vi) Muchinshi;
(vii) Chilubi; and
(viii) Kabesha.
