QUESTIONS FOR ORAL ANSWER
133 Ms Limata (Luampa) - to ask the Minister of Agriculture and Co-operatives:
(a) whether the Board Chairperson of the Food Reserve Agency (FRA) is allowed to participate in FRA trading activities; and
(b) what measures the Government has taken to ensure that there is no conflict of interest among FRA Board members.
134 Mr Chisala (Chilubi) - to ask the Vice-President and Minister of Justice:
(a) when the Government will start recruiting local court presiding officers on permanent and pensionable terms in order to promote efficiency; and
(b) what is the minimum age for an individual to be appointed a local court presiding officer.
135 Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Finance and National Planning when the Ministry will implement Zambia’s commitment made by African Heads of State and Government relating to the following:
(i) national budgetary allocation of 15% to the health sector in accordance with the provisions of the Abuja Protocol; and
(ii) national budgetary allocation of 10% to the agricultural sector in accordance with the Maputo Protocol.
136 Mr Imenda (Lukulu East) - to ask the Minister of Works and Supply when the Mongu-Lusaka road entrance into the City of Lusaka will be expanded to double lane as is the case for the Great North and Great East roads.
137 Ms Limata (Luampa) - to ask the Minister of Community Development and Social Services when the Ministry will extend support to vulnerable people, such as orphans, widows and those suffering from leprosy in Luampa Parliamentary Constituency, under the Social Welfare Assistance Programme.
